THE PROBLEM
Your pillow is causing your neck pain.
Most people blame their mattress, their stress, or their age. The real culprit is almost always the pillow.
The wrong pillow forces your neck into a position it can't hold for 8 hours. Your spine bends at a bad angle. Pressure builds on the muscles that should be relaxing. By morning, your neck is locked up, your shoulders ache, and you wonder why a full night of sleep left you feeling worse. Generic pillows are made for an average person who doesn't exist — which is exactly who they fit.
SOUND FAMILIAR?
If any of this sounds like you, your pillow is the cause.
These are the four most common signs your pillow is wrecking your neck. All four go away with the right one.
Waking up stiff
The classic sign. Your pillow held your neck at a bad angle for 8 hours. Now you can't turn your head without wincing.
Waking up tired
When your neck hurts, your body can't fully relax. You toss, you tense, you wake up feeling like you didn't sleep at all — because in the ways that count, you didn't.
Tossing all night
You flip the pillow. You stack a second one. You ball it up. Your body is trying to find an angle that doesn't hurt — and your pillow can't give it to you.
Pillow graveyard
Memory foam. Down. Cooling gel. Buckwheat. You've tried them all. They all start okay, then leave you waking up sore again within weeks. The shape matters more than the material.
THE SOLUTION
A pillow built to keep your neck in line.
Not a generic shape. Built for the angle your neck actually needs.
Three adjustable loft layers let you dial in exactly the height your neck needs. Side sleepers add layers to fill the shoulder gap. Back sleepers find the medium height that cradles the natural neck curve. Stomach sleepers remove layers so the neck doesn't get pushed back. One pillow. Every position. The right alignment, every night.
THE DIFFERENCE
Built for neck pain vs. built for shelves.
Most pillows are made to look good in a package. This one is made to fix your neck.
BUILT FOR HOW YOU SLEEP
Every position. Every neck. One pillow that adapts.
Side, back, stomach — each position causes neck pain differently. This pillow is built to fix all three.
Most common
Side Sleeper
Side sleepers carry the most neck pain risk. Too flat = neck drops, muscles strain all night. Too high = neck kinks the other way. The fix is loft matched to the gap between your shoulder and ear. We dial it in so your spine stays neutral — and you wake up without that side-of-the-neck stiffness.
Medium loft
Back Sleeper
Back sleepers need medium loft that supports the natural curve of the neck without pushing the head forward. Too soft and you sink — the curve flattens and you wake up with a stiff base of the skull. Too high and your chin tucks into your chest — hello morning headaches. We get it exactly right.
Low loft
Stomach Sleeper
Stomach sleepers get hit hardest by the wrong pillow. Anything too thick pushes the head up and back — pinching the cervical spine all night. The fix is barely-there loft that lets your face rest without arching your neck. Most pillows are immediately wrong for stomach sleepers. Yours won't be.
PAIN-FREE MORNINGS, REAL CUSTOMERS
From neck pain to pain-free.
These are people who'd given up on finding a pillow that didn't hurt. Here's what changed.
“I finally cleaned out my pillow graveyard.”
I had a closet full of failed pillows. Memory foam, down, cooling gel, you name it. This is the first one in years that I’ve actually wanted to keep using past week one. Neck pain gone, sleeping through the night.
“No more dead arm mornings.”
I’m a side sleeper and every pillow I’ve tried either went flat or killed my shoulder. This one actually fills the gap. My arm doesn’t go numb anymore. I’d pay double for this.
“Skeptic converted. It actually stays cool.”
I’ve been burned by ‘cooling’ pillows so many times I stopped believing the marketing. This one actually stays cool. I used to flip my pillow five times a night. Haven’t flipped it once in three weeks.

WHY WE BUILT THIS
We were tired of waking up in pain.
We started Forward Furniture because we kept solving the same problem in our own homes: morning neck pain caused by the wrong pillow. Not bad mattresses, not bad sleep hygiene — just pillows that forced our necks into bad angles for 8 hours a night.
So we spent two years obsessing over fill blends, loft heights, and how the neck actually needs to be supported in every sleep position. Then we built something we'd actually sleep on ourselves. Every pillow adjusts to your neck, your shoulders, and your sleep position — not a generic size chart, not a one-size firmness rating.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Everything you need to know.
The right loft height keeps your spine in neutral alignment all night. Three adjustable foam layers let you dial in the exact height your neck needs based on your sleep position and body frame. Side sleepers need higher loft to fill the shoulder gap. Back sleepers need medium loft for natural neck curve support. Stomach sleepers need low loft to prevent neck pinch. You adjust the layers yourself when the pillow arrives — most people find the right setup in the first night.
The fill is a custom blend of CertiPUR-US certified memory foam and responsive latex, with three removable layers that let you adjust the loft to the height your neck needs. The cover is OEKO-TEX certified bamboo-Tencel blend — naturally temperature-regulating and machine washable.
The pillow's three removable layers let you dial in the loft yourself. If you switch positions during the night, start with your dominant sleep position and adjust from there. Most multi-position sleepers find a middle loft that works across positions — and the 90-night trial gives you time to find exactly the right setup.
Sleep on it for up to 90 nights. If your neck pain isn’t gone, contact us and we’ll make it right. Returned pillows are donated to local shelters — so you’re never sleeping on something someone else has used.
Generic memory foam comes in one shape: a fixed rectangle that's the same height for everyone. That's wrong for most necks. Our pillow has three removable loft layers so you can adjust the height to match your sleep position and shoulder width. The shape matters more than the material — and that's exactly what off-the-shelf foam gets wrong.
