A queen murphy bed gives overnight guests the same bed size most of us sleep on at home, then folds away so the room goes back to being an office, gym or den in the morning. If your spare room is big enough for a queen when it is down, there is no reason to make anyone sleep on less.

We carry queen wall beds in three styles. The Wallie is a classic vertical murphy bed, the Heidi folds horizontally for rooms with lower ceilings, and the Olivia is a cabinet bed that stores a real queen mattress inside a compact cabinet and opens up in about thirty seconds with no wall mounting required. All offer Easy Setup and come in a range of finishes.

Shipping across Canada is a flat rate set by your order total, from $49 to $249, and 0% financing is available at checkout. Our Kelowna showroom has queen models set up so you can try the fold and feel the mattress in person.

Compare all styles and sizes in the full murphy bed collection, or if the room is tight, a twin murphy bed keeps the footprint to a minimum.

Mattress and Installation for a Queen Murphy Bed

Queen takes a thicker mattress than the smaller sizes. The maximum thickness is 10 inches rather than 8, and we recommend the 10 inch Renew memory foam mattress. That extra 2 inches is the main comfort difference between a queen and a double on these frames.

The Heidi and the Wallie should both be anchored to the wall in queen, and neither includes a mattress. The Olivia cabinet bed at $2,099.99 is the exception on both counts: the queen mattress is included, it is free standing with no wall mounting, and it opens in about thirty seconds.

Queen is worth it when the room can spare the floor space while the bed is down and guests stay more than a night or two.
