Frequently Asked Questions

How fast is delivery to my city?

Most orders process within 1–2 business days, then take about 9–14 business days in transit with standard shipping (5–9 with express) — so most in-stock items land in roughly 2–3 weeks across Western Canada. Special-order and freight items can take longer; we always confirm a realistic window before you check out.

How does 0% financing work?

We offer 0% financing through Flexiti on qualifying purchases — split your total into equal monthly payments with no interest. Just apply at checkout; approval takes a couple of minutes and there is no obligation to buy.

What if it doesn’t fit or I change my mind?

In-stock online orders can be returned for store credit within 30 days of delivery, as long as the item is unused and in its original box. Every piece is also backed by our 1-year warranty on top of the manufacturer’s terms.

Can I pick it up or see it in person first?

Yes. All three of our showrooms — Kelowna, Calgary, and Edmonton — have pieces you can see and sit on in person before you buy. If you’d rather skip delivery, contact us before checkout and we’ll arrange picking up your order at the store closest to you.

How does the 1-year warranty work if something breaks?

Every Forward Furniture piece is backed by our own 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects in parts and workmanship, starting from your delivery date — on top of the manufacturer’s own warranty, which is honoured separately according to its terms. If something breaks, contact us with photos of the issue and we’ll work with you to repair, replace, or send parts.

Do you deliver to my floor / set it up?

Standard delivery ships right to your door (about 2–3 weeks). It is a curbside service, so we do not currently carry items inside or set them up in the room, which is worth planning for if the piece is heavy. Exact delivery costs are always shown at checkout.

More about patio tables

This is a collection of outdoor tables for Canadian patios, decks and balconies, and most of what is in it is small. There are 54 outdoor side tables and 18 end tables, 60 patio coffee tables and 46 outdoor dining tables, across 178 pieces running from $89.99 to $949.99. Most of them sit around $189.99.

Outdoor Side Tables and End Tables

The side table is the piece people usually mean when they go looking for a patio table. It stands at armrest height next to a chair and holds a drink, a book and a phone, and it does not need the floor space a dining set does. There are 72 side and end tables here. Twenty of them fold flat, which matters on a balcony where the table has to disappear when you want to stand out there. Tops run from tempered glass to woven rattan to mesh steel, and prices start at $89.99.

Patio Coffee Tables

Sixty pieces here are outdoor coffee tables, the low wide sort that sits in the middle of a seating group. Forty four are round, which is the shape that works best when chairs come at it from several sides, and 19 are square. A handful come as part of a conversation set with the seating included rather than on their own.

Folding and Balcony Tables

Twenty of these tables fold. On a small balcony that is usually the deciding feature, because a folding table gives you a surface when you are sitting out and gives you the floor back when you are not. They also store flat over a Canadian winter instead of taking up a corner of the garage. The bistro tables, seven of them, do a similar job for two people in a very small footprint.

Outdoor Dining Tables

Forty six of these are outdoor dining tables, and 22 of those are built with an umbrella hole through the middle. Six are extendable, so the table runs short for two people day to day and opens up when more people turn up. Shapes split between round, square and rectangular, and the larger aluminum and glass dining tables are where the top of the price range sits.

Materials, and What Survives Outside

Forty four of these tables are rattan and 38 are wicker, both of which mean all weather resin woven over a frame rather than natural cane, so they handle rain. Twenty seven are aluminum, which is the material to pick if you do not want to think about rust at all, and 24 are steel, which is heavier and holds its place better in wind. Fifty seven have glass tops and 19 of those state tempered glass. Nine are wood, mostly acacia and teak.

See Them in Kelowna

Our showroom is at 2495 Enterprise Way, Unit 105 in Kelowna, and a table is one of the pieces genuinely worth putting a hand on before you buy, because height against your own chairs is the thing photographs never tell you. We ship across Canada as well, and zero percent financing is available at checkout.

What is the difference between an outdoor side table and a patio coffee table?

Height and where you put it. A side table stands taller and narrower so it sits at armrest level beside a chair, which is why it is the one most people actually want when they search for a patio table. A coffee table is lower and wider and sits in the middle of a seating group. This collection carries 54 side tables and 18 end tables alongside 60 coffee tables, so both jobs are covered.

Do any of these outdoor tables fold up?

Twenty of them do. Folding tables are the ones worth looking at first if you are furnishing a balcony or a small deck, because they collapse flat and go away over winter or whenever you need the floor back. They are also the easiest to carry out to a campsite or a front porch and bring in again afterwards.

Which of these tables take a patio umbrella?

Twenty two of them are made with an umbrella hole through the middle. If you want shade over the table itself, check the listing for the umbrella hole before you buy, because the tables without one cannot be drilled safely, particularly the tempered glass tops. Umbrellas and bases are sold separately.

Are glass top patio tables safe to leave outside?

The glass used on outdoor tables is tempered, so if it ever breaks it crumbles rather than forming shards. Nineteen of the tables here say tempered in the listing. The thing that actually damages a glass top outdoors is wind rather than weather, so on an exposed balcony either weigh the table down, fold it away or pick one of the metal or rattan tops instead.

What do patio tables cost at Forward Furniture?

This collection runs from $89.99 to $949.99, with most pieces around the $189.99 mark. Ninety eight of the 178 tables are under $200. Zero percent financing is available at checkout.
