What Is a Murphy Bed?

A murphy bed (also called a wall bed) is a real bed that folds vertically or horizontally into a cabinet or frame when not in use. Unlike a sofa bed or futon, you sleep on a proper mattress every night, and unlike a regular bed, it gives you the floor back every morning. Should I choose horizontal or vertical?
