What size is the Olivia Cabinet Bed?

The Olivia comes in Queen and Double. The Queen opens to 62.5 inches wide by 83 inches long. Closed, it measures 62.5 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 40 inches tall. The Double opens to 54.5 inches wide by 75 inches long.

How much floor space do I need?

Leave about 83 inches of clear floor in front of the cabinet for the Queen, or about 75 inches for the Double, so the bed has room to fold down. The cabinet itself only takes up 24 inches of depth when closed, about the same as a dresser.

How thick is the mattress?

The mattress is a tri fold foam mattress, 6 inches thick, built specifically for the fold so it stores inside the cabinet. Once the bed is open, the sleeping surface sits about 12 inches off the floor. It takes standard queen sheets.

Will it fit through my door?

The cabinet arrives boxed and fits through a standard doorway. If you send us the width of your narrowest doorway, hallway or stairwell, we will confirm it clears before you order.

Trials and warranty

Is there a trial period?

Yes. The Olivia cabinet bed, our massage chairs, and our infrared saunas all come with a 90 day risk free home trial on online purchases. Our outdoor barrel saunas come with a 30 day trial.

What warranty do I get?

The Olivia carries a lifetime warranty on factory defects in the cabinet, plus 1 year on the mattress. The Bliss massage chair and our infrared saunas carry a 3 year warranty. Our outdoor barrel saunas and all other items carry a 1 year manufacturer warranty against factory defects.

Shipping and delivery

How much is shipping?

Shipping is one flat rate per order across Canada, set by your order total before taxes. Under $300 is $49. $300 to $799.99 is $99. $800 to $1,499.99 is $149. $1,500 to $2,499.99 is $199. $2,500 and over is $249. The rate shown at checkout is the rate that applies.

Can I pick up my order instead?

Yes, pickup is free from our Kelowna, Calgary or Edmonton showrooms.

Returns and cancellations

What is your return policy?

In stock online orders can be returned for store credit within 30 days of delivery, as long as the item is unused, in its original box, and in resaleable condition. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility, and the original shipping fee is non refundable.

Can I cancel my order?

Cancellations are free within 5 hours of purchase. After that, a 10% cancellation fee applies. Once an order has shipped it cannot be cancelled and is treated as a return, if eligible.

Are any items final sale?

Ordered in and custom items are final sale, because product and shipping costs are paid upfront.

Where is the Olivia made?

The Olivia is designed here in Canada by our family run business, and built overseas by our manufacturing partner. We stand behind it with a lifetime warranty on factory defects in the cabinet, which is not something we would offer on a product we did not trust.

What colours does the Olivia come in?

Cherry, White and Black.

Does it need to be attached to the wall?

No. The Olivia is freestanding, so there is no drilling and nothing attaches to the wall. That makes it renter friendly, and it comes with you when you move.

Is the mattress included?

Yes. Every Olivia comes with the tri fold queen foam mattress included, so there is nothing extra to buy.

How hard is it to assemble?

Most customers tell us it takes a couple of hours with two people and basic tools. Step by step paper and video instructions are included. Once it is built, the bed folds down in about 30 seconds.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, we offer 0% interest financing at checkout. You will see the option to split your purchase into payments.

Where are your showrooms?

We have showrooms in Kelowna, Calgary and Edmonton, and the Olivia is set up in all three so you can open it and try it yourself before you decide.
