Forward Furniture Calgary: Visit Our Showroom

Visit Our Calgary Showroom

Our Calgary location lets you sit on the sectionals, lie on the mattresses and open and close the Olivia cabinet bed yourself before you commit. The showroom is at #2 6125 12 St SE, Calgary, AB T2H 2K1. We are open every day from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm. Call us at (236) 766-5687 or get directions on Google Maps.

Serving Calgary and Southern Alberta

We serve furniture shoppers across Calgary, Airdrie, Okotoks, Chestermere, Cochrane and the surrounding area, with delivery available throughout Alberta and shipping anywhere in Canada from $49 to $249 depending on your order total.

The showroom sits on 12 Street SE in southeast Calgary, which puts it a few minutes from Glenmore Trail and Blackfoot Trail, with Macleod Trail just to the west. Shoppers coming up from Okotoks and High River, or in from Chestermere and Strathmore, usually find it a much easier trip than fighting through the northwest, and there is room to park directly outside. If you are driving in from Airdrie, Cochrane or Canmore for one specific piece, call ahead on (236) 766-5687 and we will make sure it is on the floor before you make the drive.

What You Will Find In Store

Calgary shoppers come to us most often for cabinet beds and murphy beds, the space-saving beds that turn a home office or condo den into a real guest room. We also carry massage chairs, mattresses, sectionals and saunas, with 0% financing available through Flexiti.

Also in Alberta: our Edmonton furniture store. In BC, visit our Kelowna showroom.

Furnishing a Condo or a Basement Suite in Calgary

Most of what Calgary shoppers ask us about comes down to one room that has to do two jobs. It is a home office through the week and a guest room when family arrives, or it is a walkout suite that needs to sleep someone without the bed swallowing the whole floor. Putting a permanent bed in that room means losing the desk. Leaving a pull out sofa in the corner means giving up the corner all year for something used a handful of nights.

That is exactly the job a cabinet bed does. Closed, the Olivia reads as a low sideboard and takes up about the floor space of a dresser. Opened, it is a real queen bed with the memory foam mattress included, and setup is easy enough to do on your own without rearranging the room. Wall beds answer the same problem from the other direction, folding flat against the wall and giving the floor back completely. Both are worth seeing in person, which is the main reason people make the trip to 12 Street rather than ordering blind.

The other Calgary pattern we see is July. Stampede week fills spare rooms with visiting family, and every year we get people in during June asking what they can put in an office that will still be an office in August. A bed that folds away is the honest answer to that question.

What We Stock for Calgary Homes

The Calgary floor and catalogue run to roughly 258 pieces, from around $99 for smaller accent items up to just over $7,300 for the largest massage chairs and saunas. Most of what people actually buy sits nearer the middle, with the typical piece landing around $350.

Storage is the deepest part of the range, which fits a city with a lot of newer condos short on closets and a lot of older homes with none to spare. Bookcases, TV stands, dressers and nightstands together make up the largest share of the catalogue, followed by computer desks for the home office. Seating is the next deepest, and it leans toward the small space problem: alongside stationary sectionals we carry a real spread of sleeper sofas and sleeper sectionals, so the sofa itself can be the guest bed when a cabinet bed is not the right fit. Beyond that there are mattresses, recliners, dining sets, bar and counter stools, and the massage chairs and infrared saunas that most Alberta furniture stores do not stock at all.

Everything can be seen or ordered through the Calgary store, and 0% financing through Flexiti applies in store and online.
