It runs on a 6 kilowatt electric sauna heater with internal controls, built for the traditional pour water over rocks style of steam. Because it's a rounded barrel shape, plan for a footprint of at least 71 inches by 71 inches, plus a couple of extra feet on the door side so the glass door can swing open and there's room to move around the heater fence.
