Frequently Asked Questions

How fast is delivery to my city?

Most pieces arrive in about 1 to 2 weeks. Some furniture comes from the maker and arrives in 5 to 8 weeks. The estimated arrival dates are on every product page, and we reach out to book your delivery day once your order is on its way.

How does 0% financing work?

We offer 0% financing through Flexiti on qualifying purchases — split your total into equal monthly payments with no interest. Just apply at checkout; approval takes a couple of minutes and there is no obligation to buy.

What if it doesn’t fit or I change my mind?

Every piece comes with a 90-day home trial. If it is not right, return it unused and in its original box within 90 days. Drop it off at our Kelowna, Calgary or Edmonton store, or ship it back at your cost. There is no restocking fee, and online orders are refunded to the card you paid with. Every piece is also backed by our 3-year warranty on top of the manufacturer’s terms.

Can I pick it up or see it in person first?

Yes. All three of our showrooms — Kelowna, Calgary, and Edmonton — have pieces you can see and sit on in person before you buy. If you’d rather skip delivery, contact us before checkout and we’ll arrange picking up your order at the store closest to you.

How does the 3-year warranty work if something breaks?

Every Forward Furniture piece is backed by a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects in parts and workmanship, starting from your delivery date. You get ours or the manufacturer’s, whichever is longer. It covers parts and workmanship, not accidental damage. If something breaks, contact us with photos of the issue and we’ll work with you to repair, replace, or send parts.

Do you deliver to my floor / set it up?

Standard delivery comes right to your door, on the dates shown on each product page. It is a curbside service, so we do not currently carry items inside or set them up in the room, which is worth planning for if the piece is heavy. Exact delivery costs are always shown at checkout.

More about horizontal murphy beds

Horizontal Murphy beds fold down sideways from the wall, so the bed opens along its width instead of its height. That lower profile makes a horizontal wall bed the right choice for rooms with low or sloped ceilings, space under a window, or a basement suite where a vertical murphy bed simply will not fit.

Our Heidi horizontal Murphy bed comes in Twin, Double and Queen sizes and several finishes. Each wall bed uses a smooth, spring-assisted mechanism for easy setup and everyday use, and folds flat against the wall to give you your floor back every morning. Every order ships anywhere in Canada for $49 to $249 depending on your order total, and 0% financing is available at checkout.

Choosing a horizontal wall bed

Twin, Double and Queen Horizontal Murphy Beds

  • Twin horizontal Murphy bed from $1,424.99. A great fit for kids' rooms, home offices and compact guest spaces.
  • Double horizontal Murphy bed from $1,724.99. More sleeping room while still keeping the floor clear.
  • Queen horizontal Murphy bed from $1,824.99. Full-size comfort that still tucks away flat against the wall.

Horizontal vs Vertical Murphy Beds

A horizontal Murphy bed folds sideways, so it needs less ceiling height and leaves the wall above the bed free for shelves or art. A vertical Murphy bed like our Wallie folds up lengthwise and needs the least wall width but more ceiling clearance. If you would rather skip wall mounting entirely, the freestanding Olivia cabinet bed hides a queen bed inside a dresser-sized cabinet. Compare all three in our cabinet bed vs murphy bed guide, or browse every style on the murphy beds collection.
